NCMIC has appointed David Siebert as its new CEO, effective immediately. Siebert succeeds Mike McCoy, who is retiring after eight years.

Siebert joined NCMIC in 1995 as a claims representative and has served as a litigation consultant, senior director, assistant vice president and senior vice president. He was named president of NCMIC Insurance Co. in 2020, where he helped the company grow to a record number of policyholders and led multiple strategic growth initiatives, according to the company. Prior to joining NCMIC, Siebert spent two years in claims at Crawford & Co., where he worked with self-insured risks. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and he and his family reside in Urbandale.

Siebert is president-elect on the board of directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa and has held leadership roles in several other civic and industry organizations.

As CEO, Siebert will oversee operations and strategic initiatives across the enterprise. The company serves doctors of chiropractic, naturopathic doctors and other health care professionals with specialized insurance and financial products.
