Three people who have decades of experience in the commercial real estate industry have formed CDM Real Estate Services, located at 3035 99th St. in Urbandale.

Partners in the venture include Jesse Caston, Chris Dawson and Rob Myers. Caston was previously with Terrus Real Estate Group; Dawson was with Caliber Property Management; and Myers was with Angle Realty.

“We formed the company to have a small group of like-minded people who want to collaborate  and do more than just brokerage and represent buyers and sellers,” Dawson said. “We want to have the opportunity for development as well.”

The group also wants to expand its reach outside of Central Iowa. Caston is located in Burlington, providing services to southern and southeastern Iowa.

The group picked the name for a couple reasons: CDM represents the first letter in each of their last names – Caston, Dawson, Myers. It also is the first letter of each of the services the company offers: Commercial representation; development; and management services.
