The Iowa Bankers Association and its affiliates officially opened its new headquarters on Aug. 30 at 8901 Northpark Drive in Johnston.  The new 60,000-square-foot facility provides adequate room for staff and enhanced meeting facilities for IBA members, customers and guests, including a larger training room for on-site educational seminars with the latest technology for presentations, the association said in a press release.  Adequate space was needed to house 220 staff members and the hundreds of bankers who frequent IBA offices for training, peer group meetings and IBA volunteer events. With 287 member banks, the organization’s affiliates include Iowa Bankers Insurance & Services, Inc., Iowa Bankers Mortgage Corp., Mid America Banking Insurance Services and Iowa Midwest Insurance Co.
