New leadership announced for Iowa Architect magazine

Khalid Khan, a principal and design leader at Neumann Monson Architects, will serve as the magazine’s associate editor. “Iowa Architect Magazine excels at providing fresh opportunities for connection,” Ballard said in a prepared statement. “Each issue grinds a lens that allows us to both reflect on our collective endeavor and share its relevance with the public.” Ballard is an associate professor of practice at Iowa State University and is president-elect of Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity. Khan is on the board of the Greater Des Moines Public Art Foundation and is a guest critic for ISU’s architecture department. Iowa Architect is the official publication of the American Institute of Architects, Iowa Chapter.
