Terry Branstad said he hopes the site, rules.iowa.gov, will help Iowans check whether rules and regulations could be too much of a burden. The site shows which administrative rules are open for comment, which ones are getting the most views and contact information and accepts comments on rules. “Public participation in forming administrative rules helps Iowa reform burdensome rules and prevents over regulation and government red tape thus encouraging efficiency, economic growth and job creation,” Branstad said in a statement.
