The NIACC John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center at North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City will host an inaugural Pappajohn Entrepreneur Gala on Sept. 26. The planned annual event  “celebrates the entrepreneurs and partners who make our communities a great place to work and live,” the center said in a release. In addition to honoring John and Mary Pappajohn with the Legacy Award, the gala will recognize an Entrepreneur of the Year, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Business of the Year, and present an Innovation Award. Nominations can be made by contacting the Pappajohn Center directly for an application, or on the Pappajohn Center website.
