Nominations for Passport to Prosperity Awards open

The Iowa International Center will accept nominations through 5 p.m. June 6 for the Passport to Prosperity Awards, which recognize significant contributions of immigrants and refugees to Iowa culture, business, education and social offerings. The awards gala will be Oct. 13 at Drake University’s Olmsted Center. A new award will honor an immigrant or refugee age 17-24 who has made significant contributions to the community. Nominees must be an immigrant or refugee in the United States and have lived in Iowa for at least five years. Nomination forms are available online.
