The Iowa Job Honor Awards is accepting nominations for the fifth annual event in Coralville, hosted by the Iowa Society for Human Resource Management on Sept. 27. The awards celebrate Iowans who overcome significant barriers to employment, and the employers who hire them, Iowa Job Honor founder Kyle Horn said in a statement. Previous honorees have overcome disability, criminal convictions and immigrant/refugee status while seeking employment. Nominations are due by July 31 and can be submitted at www.jobhonor.org.
