Nominations open for Louise Noun Visionary award
The Young Women’s Resource Center has opened nominations for the Louise Noun Visionary Award. The award is intended to honor advocates, activists, innovators and philanthropists whose contributions or work have made significant contributions toward empowering girls and young women. Nominations are due Dec. 31. The recipient will be honored at the annual YWRC Gala. The award is named for YWRC founder Louise Noun, a feminist and philanthropist who also led the League of Women Voters and the Iowa Civil Liberties Union, among other achievements.
