The American Red Cross in Iowa is accepting nominations for its Heroes of the Heartland awards. The awards are given annually to those making an impact through their courageous and compassionate actions, and those demonstrating a true commitment to creating safer, stronger communities. Nominations close Jan. 31 and can be submitted online.
