Norwalk hires new city manager

70 wordsAll Latest News, Government Policy and LawLuke Nelson has been hired as Norwalk city manager, replacing Marketa George Oliver, who resigned in March. Nelson was city administrator in Boone. Nelson has a bachelor’s degree in community and regional planning from Iowa State University and master’s degrees in public administration and in community and regional planning from Iowa State. He was Boone County director of planning and development before taking the job with the city of Boone.
