West Lakes Investors LLC paid Kum & Go LC $1.16 million for 18.4 acres of undeveloped ground in West Des Moines, Polk County real estate transactions show. West Lakes Investors, managed by Jonathan Galloway, is considering a $9 million project on the site that would include 90,000 square feet of office and retail space. The property is located east of the Des Moines Area Community College campus on undeveloped ground bounded by Booneville Road on the north and Grand Avenue on the south. West Des Moines city officials are currently negotiating a development agreement with Galloway. The property is valued at $21,500, records show. The transaction was recorded on June 9.

Mukesh Tayal and Jyoti Gupta, both of Urbandale, paid Gateway Townhomes LLC $7.45 million for two townhome developments in Grimes, records show. Eight of the townhouses are located between 800 and 931 S.E. 10th Lane; 39 others are located between 716 and 808 S.E. Crossings Lane. Most of the townhomes were constructed in 2016; their average value is about $155,000, records show. The transaction was completed June 8.
