NOTABLE TRANSACTIONS: Des Moines mobile home park acquired by Florida company

Maplewood Communities, doing business as Southland MHP LLC, paid Southland Mobile Home Park LLC $5.3 million for property at 5300 S.E. First Court, records show. Maplewood Communities is based in Boca Raton, Fla.
The property, known as Southland Park, was developed in 1972 and includes about 20 acres with 90 lots for manufactured homes. The property is valued at just over $2 million.
The transaction was recorded Jan. 27.

Ventures 10 LLC, based in Des Moines, paid Enterprise VII LLC $2.1 million for property at 3000 S.E. Enterprise Drive in Grimes, records show. The 2.4-acre parcel includes a 20,000-square-foot warehouse building built in 1995. The property is valued at $1.4 million. The transaction was recorded Jan. 29.
AI Investments, based in Sioux Falls, S.D., paid Danlee Corp. $1.8 million for property at 6050 S.E. 14th St. in Des Moines, records show. The 2.1-acre parcel includes a 10,600-square-foot commercial building constructed in 2006. The building is occupied by two restaurants and a salon. The property is valued at $1.6 million. The transaction was recorded Jan. 30.
Delavan Drive Storage LLC, based in Clive, paid Next Phase Development 2101 Delavan Drive LLC $1.5 million for six properties that include warehouse condominiums, records show. The properties are located at 2101 Delavan Drive in West Des Moines. Each property includes a warehouse whose size ranges from 1,380 square feet to just over 2,000 square feet. The warehouses were built in 2024. The transaction was recorded Jan. 31.

Second Van Houweling Property LLC, located in Urbandale, paid Pamela Quinn $2.3 million for farmland in northwest Dallas County, real estate records show. The property is south of Bouton. The transaction was recorded Jan. 31.
Mallard Group LLC, located in Waukee, paid Duck Dynasty Developers LLC $1.8 million for more than 40 acres of undeveloped land in Urbandale, records show. The land is about one-fourth of a mile west of 170th Street and one-fourth of a mile north of Meredith Drive. The transaction was recorded Jan. 30.
The Alan and Ann Fender Second Restated Family Living Trust paid Drake Companies LLC just over $1 million for property at 905 S. Kingswood Court in West Des Moines, records show. The property includes a 2,021-square-foot house built in 2024. The transaction was recorded Jan. 30.
Joshua Weems paid Eileen Pannetier and the David and Freda Pannetier Living Trust $1.5 million for just over 140 acres of farmland in Dallas County, records show. The land is about 4 miles northeast of Redfield. The transaction was recorded Jan. 28.
