An out-of-state entity has purchased property in Urbandale occupied by the Deerfield Retirement Community, Polk County real estate records show.

IRC III LLC, located in Omaha, paid Deerfield Retirement Community $19 million for the property located at 13731 Hickman Road in Urbandale, records show.

The property includes over 30 townhouses designed for independent living and a three-story, 244-unit continuing care facility. The development is located on 45 acres. It was developed in 2004.

The property is valued at $44 million.
