A limited liability company based in Austin, Texas, has acquired medical office property at 1201 Pennsylvania Ave. in Des Moines, Polk County real estate records show.

MCP Stable 1201 Pennsylvania Avenue Des Moines LLC paid Genesis KC Development LLC $4.89 million for the 1.2-acre parcel.

This is the second time in the past two years the property has changed hands. Genesis KC Development, managed by Denver, Colo.-based DaVita Kidney Care, acquired the property in mid-2023 for $1.65 million.

Since then, additions have been added to the medical office building and other improvements and alterations have been made to the property, records show. The original 5,306-square-foot office building on the property was built in 1988.

The property in 2023 was valued at $1.2 million. The most recent transaction was recorded Feb. 28.

DF Farms LLC, based in Madrid, paid Absolute Farms LLC just over $3.6 million for nearly 150 acres of farmland in north-central Polk County, real estate records show. The land is south of 340th Street/Northwest 166th Avenue and east of Iowa Highway 17. The transaction was recorded Feb. 25.

Charlie Tango LLC, based in Ankeny, paid Rock Equity Holdings II LLC nearly $1.8 million for six townhome properties in the 2700 block of Southwest 24th Lane in Ankeny, records show. The two-story townhomes were built in 2022 and each includes 1,560 square feet of living space. The transaction was recorded Feb. 26.

Terry and Judy Aikin paid the Bradley Brody Estate $2 million for property at 3870 Timberland Drive in West Des Moines, records show. The 2-acre parcel includes a single-family, 3,907-square-foot house built in 1997. The transaction was recorded Feb. 26.

Goodman Estates LLC, based in Urbandale, paid Deer Creek Village LLC $1.2 million for 22 residential lots in Deer Creek Village Plat 2, located in northeast Ankeny, records show. The transaction was recorded Feb. 27.

The Continental WDM LLC, based in Ankeny, paid Rock Equity Holdings II LLC $1.5 million for property at 1255 S. Jordan Creek Parkway in West Des Moines, Dallas County real estate records show. The 8-acre parcel is zoned residential. The transaction was recorded Feb. 28.
