NOTEBOOK: Greater D.M. tributes to Michael Sadler

The loss continues to be felt. We wanted to take a moment to share in one spot some of the beautiful tributes to Sadler, assistant vice president of public policy and government relations with CenturyLink in Iowa, that were posted on social media or published in the Business Record.
DSM has lost one of its finest citizens. Michael Sadler was a great person in so many ways. Michael made a big impact on everyone he met and everywhere he went. He was a gentle giant who was a friend of all.

Nobody ever looks forward to attending a visitation or funeral for someone close to your age and someone with whom you worked closely for several years. I don’t think I can add much to the narrative of Michael Sadler this week that hasn’t already been said. I would say I find it ironic he died of a “heart ailment.” I can assure you there was nothing wrong with this man’s heart.
