126 wordsBusiness Record Insider, The Insider NotebookWhen Twitter feels bogged down in scandal and tragedy, I sometimes click over to the world of travel bloggers for some feel-good steals and inspiration. Naturally last week, all I got was airline outrage ? well, more like resignment.
As United Airlines launches its new Corporate Preferred program, it also slipped in a new obscure seating for flyers who want to sit at the front of the economy cabin, Smarter Travel and Travel Weekly reports.
To clarify: Passengers not in the Corporate Preferred or Mileage Plus Premier programs will pay an undisclosed higher amount for seats toward the front of the economy cabin but behind Economy Plus rows. These costlier economy seats will apparently not offer any outstanding benefits (like legroom) except for … disembarking faster?
