We’ve got a super-low unemployment rate. It’s a problem, business leaders tell me, as they are looking for educated, skilled and dedicated new workers. So anytime I see an article talking about younger workers, I’m ready to read. Here’s an article from CNN Money that caught my eye this morning. It starts like this: “Recent graduates still covet jobs on Wall Street or at prestigious consulting firms. But high-profile tech companies are also on their shortlists of potential employers. Amazon, for example, shot up in popularity among business and engineering students, according to a new survey from Universum, a research and consulting firm.” Amazon isn’t here (and it’s not coming that we know of), so how do Iowa tech companies take this information and think about how they can attract or appeal to recent graduates?
