Jenn and Cory Heinzen are both paranormal investigators and have lived in the Rhode Island house that inspired “The Conjuring” since 2019. They deferred to the spirits for the first four months, sleeping on cots in one room, but after several cordial encounters, the couple made a business out of welcoming other paranormal investigators to stay in the house. Although the Henizens are leaving, they’re looking for the right buyer to come along. “I’m looking for someone who will continue to run the business as we’ve started it,” said Jenn Heinzen. The roughly 3,100-square-foot home sits on 8.5 acres and gained notoriety when the Perron family moved in and their eldest daughter wrote a trilogy of books describing encounters very much unlike those the Heinzens have experienced. Nonetheless, real estate agent Benjamin Kean said the house’s connections will be a selling point. “We have something really special, not only a part of paranormal history but also a part of Hollywood history,” he said. “Not many houses are going to give you that package.”
