With companies beginning to slowly reopen and bring back employees who have been working remotely or furloughed, workplace safety and protecting employees is top of mind for both employers and those they employ. Although businesses have put in place measures to help slow the spread of coronavirus, such as requirements to wear masks and social distancing protocols, nearly half of employees surveyed in a Gallup Poll expressed concern about their safety at the office, Business Insider is reporting. A recent survey done by Glassdoor shows that the majority of employees expect employers to provide disinfectant and hand sanitizer, and that there will be requirements to wear masks and gloves.
