As I was watching the presidential inauguration on Wednesday, I particularly enjoyed hearing the youth poet laureate, Amanda Gorman, recite the poem that she had written for the occasion — “The Hill We Climb.” I came across this article this morning in which the 22-year-old tells a little more about herself. I was even more impressed after reading about her, including her story about a personal challenge she overcame that she has in common with President Joe Biden.
