About: One-hundred years ago, the United States and its allies signed an armistice with Germany that ended hostilities on World War I’s Western Front. It was 11 a.m. on Nov. 11, 1918 – “the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month.” Join as we commemorate the milestone anniversary and honor those who served and sacrificed in the name of freedom. There will be open-house programs throughout the day, including a showing of the movie “Wings” (1927), which won the first Academy Award.
When: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
