The Iowa State Conference on Aging will be Aug. 8 at Prairie Meadows in Altoona, bringing together health care providers, housing professionals, nonprofits, policy leaders and innovators in aging services to discuss strategies and solutions to issues facing aging during current federal policy shifts. Among other speakers and opportunities at the conference, the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services Division of Aging and Disability Services will share the state’s first multisector plan on aging.
