Ohio company buys medical office buildings in Des Moines

The properties at 850 Dickman Road and 6651 S.W. Ninth St. were acquired by 850 & 6651 Des Moines LLC from Mercy South II LLC, an entity located in Kansas City, Mo.
The property at 850 Dickman Road includes a 22,572-square-foot medical office building that was constructed in 1999. The 4.7-acre parcel is valued at $5.5 million.
The adjacent property at 6651 S.W. Ninth St. includes a 9,344-square-foot medical office building constructed in 2005. The property is valued at $1.8 million.
The transaction was recorded Aug. 3.

John and Michele Dawley paid the Gordon Living Trust $1.35 million for property at 3920 Grand Ave. in Des Moines, records show. The property includes a condominium unit in the Barbican Condo building that was constructed in the late 1970s. The transaction was recorded Aug. 1.
M-H Property Enterprises LLC, located in Leawood, Kan., paid Denny Elwell Family LC $5.4 million for undeveloped property in Ankeny, records show. The property is east of Southeast Delaware Avenue, just south of its intersection with Southeast 54th Street. The transaction was recorded Aug. 1.
JNMS Investments LLC, located in West Des Moines, paid Iowa Service of Process LLC $600,000 for property at 974 73rd St. in Windsor Heights, records show. The purchase involved the acquisition of three office condominiums. The transaction was recorded Aug. 2.
Debra Trowbridge paid Kimberley Development Corp. just over $1 million for property at 5908 N.E. Terrace Ridge Drive in Ankeny, records show. The property includes a recently built single-family house. The transaction was recorded Aug. 2.
Dominic Formaro Jr. paid Randall Childs $1.59 million for property at 5555 N.E. 88th St. in Altoona, records show. The 6.5-acre parcel includes a two-story brick house built in 2006. The transaction was recorded Aug. 2.
Zachary and Bethany Westrum paid Threshold Capital LLC $1.3 million for farm ground west of Northwest 37th Street near the Des Moines River near Ankeny, records show. The transaction was recorded Aug. 3.
An Indianapolis, Ind.-based multifamily developer has purchased a vacant parcel south of the Raccoon River where an apartment project has been proposed, records show. Union at Rivers Edge LP, managed by the Annex Group, paid 214 Jackson LLC $6.33 million for the nearly 4-acre tract at 1600 Indianola Ave., records show. Over a year ago, the Annex Group proposed building a $56.1 million apartment development (rendering above) on the vacant parcel. The project would include a six-story, 192-unit U-shaped building, a leg of which would be steps away from the heavily used Meredith Trail and Jackson Street Bridge. A second rectangular-shaped building, which would front Southwest Second Street, would include 24 units. A development agreement with the developer was approved in August 2022 by the Des Moines City Council on a 4-3 vote. The real estate transaction was recorded Aug. 4.

Jerry and Nichole Bussanmas paid Arbor Home Builders LLC $1.75 million for property at 9540 Greybirch Point in West Des Moines, Dallas County real estate records show. The property includes a recently constructed single-family house. The transaction was recorded Aug. 1.
