Oktoberfest is returning to downtown Des Moines Sept. 24-25 for its 17th year, taking place on Fourth Street south of Court Avenue and part of Market Street.

Oktoberfest is returning to downtown Des Moines Sept. 24-25 for its 17th year, taking place on Fourth Street south of Court Avenue and part of Market Street. The event features live music, authentic German food, tented beer gardens, contests and the Tapping of the Golden Keg ceremony at 3 p.m. on Sept. 24. Tickets are available online.
