ONE GOOD READ: Largest countries in the world have ‘too many men’

Washington Post: It may not be a stretch to say public policy sometimes plays a role in gender imbalance; however, two of the world’s largest countries are facing one caused by modern medical technology and cultural preferences as well. In China and India, men outnumber women by 70 million, the cause of which stems from China’s one-child-only policy, and in both countries, the preference for male heirs as well as the advancement of sex-selective technology. Now the consequences of those choices are far-reaching.
