The University of Iowa’s Henry B. Tippie College of Business will host a Women in Business conference on Saturday, April 18, in Iowa City. Keynote speaker at the event is Sheri Salata, president of the Oprah Winfrey Network and a Tippie College alumna. The focus of her address will be the national conversation taking place about elevating women in business, Sheryl Sandberg’s “Lean In,” and reports showing how Iowa lags in terms of women entrepreneurs.
