Optimae LifeServices Inc. announced today its expansion into Waterloo, where it provides services for individuals with mental illness and intellectual disabilities to equip them with the needed skills to live more independently. The move meets Waterloo’s emerging needs for mental health services while increasing Optimae’s footprint to include 39 counties in central, eastern and southern Iowa, the company said in a release. “This expansion allows Optimae to serve more people who are in need and forge partnerships with groups who were previously unavailable to us,” said William Dodds, Optimae CEO and president. Optimae currently serves more than 5,300 Iowans with mental illness and disabilities.
