Optimae LifeServices golf tournament raises $7,600 for NAMI
Optimae LifeServices has helped raise more than $7,600 for the National Alliance on Mental Illness Greater Des Moines through an annual benefit golf tournament. William Dodds, Optimae president and CEO, recently presented NAMI officials with the funds, which will be used to provide free classes and support groups for those affected by mental illness and to advocate for improved mental health care in Iowa. “This was a great opportunity for Optimae to show its commitment to mental health issues in the Des Moines metro area and help some of our community’s most vulnerable populations,” Dodds said. “It reinforces the important work we do every day throughout Iowa and our valued partnership with NAMI.” More than 60 golfers participated in the September event, which included a four-person best ball tournament, as well as raffles, other on-course competitions and a silent auction.
