Interstate Highway 80 eastbound between Grand Prairie Parkway and Jordan Creek Parkway will be closed overnight for two nights next week as part of a project to set beams for the new Ashworth Road bridge over I-80. According to the Iowa Department of Transportation, the highway will close at 10 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 4 and 5, and reopen at 5 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 5 and 6. During those times, traffic will be detoured using Grand Prairie Parkway, University Avenue and Jordan Creek Parkway.
