The Greater Des Moines Partnership and Des Moines Area Community College will host a Multicultural Reception on April 13 at DMACC’s Urban Campus in Des Moines. Multicultural Receptions provide opportunities for community members to develop new relationships with others who are passionate about building an inclusive community for the region. The event will begin with a roundtable discussion at Building 7 from 4 to 5 p.m., where attendees will have the opportunity to discuss a variety of diversity, equity and inclusion topics of importance to their organization and the community. The reception will begin at 5 p.m. with brief remarks around 5:30, and continue until 6:30. More information about the event can be found on the Partnership’s events page.
