Partnership hires Hinch for top lobbyist position
Matt Hinch, the former executive officer and chief adviser to the Iowa speaker of the house, will join the Greater Des Moines Partnership at the end of May as its senior vice president of government relations and public policy.
In Hinch’s new role, he will work to build a healthy relationship between Iowa businesses and government to help better Greater Des Moines, according to a release. Hinch is a native of Des Moines and graduate of University of Iowa with a degree in communication and a minor in political science.
Hinch, who fills the position vacated when Jay Byers became the Partnership’s CEO, will start his new job on May 29.
