The Greater Des Moines Partnership will have its opening night legislative reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Jan. 9. The event will take place at the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates, 100 Locust St. Registration is $15 for Partnership and affiliated chamber members, and $30 for non-members; to register go to www.desmoinesmetro.com/events.
