Partnership names director of inclusive business strategies

Juan Pablo Sanchez was named this week as the Partnership’s director of inclusive business strategies. According to a news release, Sanchez will facilitate programs that will advance minority-owned businesses, help the Partnership’s supplier diversity initiatives and connect small business owners of all backgrounds. Sanchez is the founder of Oxsur Capital LLC, a business consulting company based in Des Moines that fosters investment opportunities for international firms. His first day with the Partnership was Jan. 10. The position is full-time and Sanchez will continue to develop his consulting business, officials with the Partnership said. Sanchez also served as a naval officer in the Chilean Navy for 22 years.
