Partnership offering updates on 2022 session, state budget

107 wordsAll Latest News, Economic Development, Law & GovernmentThe Greater Des Moines Partnership will be offering a recap on the recently completed legislative session and an update on the state’s budget during a virtual meeting on Wednesday. The event is open to Partnership members and investors. Dustin Miller of Nyemaster Goode PC, executive director of the Iowa Chamber Alliance, will provide a recap of the 2022 Iowa legislative session, which ended May 25. Following Miller’s presentation, Kraig Paulsen, interim director of the Iowa Department of Management, will give a presentation on the state’s budget ahead of the start of the next fiscal year on July 1. The meeting is scheduled from 11 a.m. to noon.
