The Greater Des Moines Partnership will host its next Public Policy Issue Forum on Dec. 15. The discussion, held along with Capital Crossroads and the Young Professionals Connection, will focus on economic development. It is scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. It will be hybrid meeting, taking place at the Partnership office and on Zoom. The forum will feature a panel discussing the relationship between economic development tools and policy. Confirmed panelists include Drew Kamp, president of the Professional Developers of Iowa and the CEO and president of the Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce, and Carrie Kruse, economic development coordinator with the city of Des Moines. Other panelists will be announced as they are confirmed. The event is free, but registration is required on the Partnership’s website.
