Partnership’s next Public Policy Issue forum is Aug. 17

The next installment in the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s Public Policy Issue Forum series is scheduled for Aug. 17. The presentation, scheduled to begin at noon, will focus on affordable housing and feature a panel discussion on the importance of housing for the recruitment and retention of talent and for economic growth. Scheduled panelists include: Teree Caldwell-Johnson, Oakridge Neighborhood Services; Lance Henning, Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity; Amber Lynch, Invest DSM; Kris Saddoris, Hubbell Realty Co.; and Matt Hauge, Polk County Housing. The Public Policy Issue Forum series is a bimonthly series held throughout 2021 to address issues affecting the Des Moines area. Future forums are scheduled for Oct. 19 and Dec. 14, and will explore justice reform and inclusive economic development.
