Courtney Shaw, senior vice president of communications at the Greater Des Moines Partnership, has been named to the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) 40 Under 40 list. The annual recognition program showcases 40 of the chamber of commerce industry’s top emerging leaders in the nation who have demonstrated success in their careers and made significant contributions to the communities they serve. The list includes CEOs and staff professionals from a wide variety of roles and chamber sizes. Shaw joined the Partnership in 2019 and has led several high-profile initiatives, including the Iowa Caucus Consortium during the Iowa Caucuses in February 2020. She also helped lead the Partnership’s national digital marketing campaign focused on economic development audiences and prospective residents, among many other projects. Shaw is one of two Iowa leaders recognized on the list, with Drew Kamp, president and CEO of the Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce.
