Andrea Woodard, public policy manager for the Greater Des Moines Partnership, has started her term as the president of the Junior League of Des Moines, an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action of leadership of trained volunteers, according to a release.
