Pate named to lead national business services committee
Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate has been appointed co-chairman of the National Association of Secretaries of State’s Standing Committee on Business Services, along with Delaware Secretary of State Jeffrey Bullock. Each of the organization’s committees is led by a Democrat and a Republican. Pate is a Republican who is serving his serving his second term as secretary of state. He has been recognized as Iowa Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Small Business Administration and was a Blue Chip Award recipient from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
