Pate names Burhans state elections administrator; Kline to retire
Heidi Burhans has been named state elections administrator effective Feb. 1, Secretary of State Paul Pate announced. Burhans currently is Madison County auditor. She is a legislative liaison for the Iowa State Association of County Auditors. Burhans previously worked as the city clerk of Truro. Pate also announced that Ken Kline, deputy elections commissioner, will retire Feb. 1.
