Paustian wins book award No. 7
DMACC West Campus Provost Tony Paustian’s book “A Quarter Million Steps: Creativity, Imagination and Leading Transformative Change” was a runner-up among 2,000 entries in the Los Angeles-based American Book Fest Best Leadership Book in the Best Book Awards. The top prize went to “The Content Trap: A Strategist’s Guide to Digital Change,” a Random House book by Bharat Anand that also won a major Bloomberg award. The Best Book Awards recognition was the seventh for Paustian’s book since it was released in the fall. The volume also won an international Book Excellence Award for Best Management Book, an Axiom Business Book Awards Silver Medal for Best Motivation, Success and Coaching Book; a Reviewers’ Choice Literary Award for Best Business Book; an Eric Hoffer Award as finalist for Best Non-Fiction Book; a Next Generation Award, and a Discovery Book Award. “A Quarter Million Steps” offers leadership lessons drawing from the work of the Apollo space program.
