Pioneer plans distribution center in Carlisle
DuPont Pioneer plans a 250,000-square-foot storage and distribution center at 6425 S.E. 64th Ave., along the northern edge of the city of Carlisle’s Gateway Urban Renewal Area. According to a report to the Carlisle City Council, the project will create up to 30 full- and part-time jobs. Developers will receive a 10-year, 100 percent property tax rebate up to $3.3 million. Grading is underway for the structure, which should be completed in September 2018, City Administrator Andrew Lent said.
