Radio Iowa: Ground was broken last week in Mason City for a $35 million to $40 million tomato-growing project that will include a 16- to 17-acre greenhouse facility along with a 50,000-square-foot packinghouse and 47 jobs paying an average of about $17 an hour. Bushel Boy Farms of Owatonna, Minn., plans to grow hydroponic tomatoes on an 80-acre development on the southwest side of the city.
