Poll: Small business owners favor increase in taxes on wealthier Americans
President Barack Obama’s idea to raise taxes on wealthier Americans is popular even among small business owners, according to The Business Journals.
A poll conducted by the left-leaning Small Business Majority found that more than half of small business owners think raising taxes on high-income Americans can help fix the federal government’s debt crisis.
About 47 percent of the 500 small business owners interviewed identified themselves as Republicans while 35 percent identified themselves as Democrats.
