Pork producers name Wulfekuhle new president
Hog producer Al Wulfekuhle of Quasqueton has begun his one-year term as president of the Iowa Pork Producers Association. He has been member of the IPPA board since 2012 and has raised pigs for more than three decades. Wulfekuhle succeeds Dave Struthers of Collins. A key goal will be educating producers about new U.S. Food and Drug Administration rules that will limit the use of some antibiotics in feed and require a veterinarian’s prescription for others, beginning Jan. 1.
