Woodhouse Auto Family, an Omaha-based auto group, is making plans to open a Porsche dealership in West Des Moines. Earlier this month, the Board of Adjustment approved a Permitted Conditional Use request to locate the dealership at 7301 Lake Drive, a 2.7-acre parcel situated north of Interstate Highway 80 and a block east of Jordan Creek Parkway. The land is owned by Earlham Savings Bank, whose officials approved allowing the dealership to locate on the property, information provided to the board shows. The dealership plans to construct a 25,000-square-foot building that would include areas for sales and service. The proposed project must receive other approvals from the city before construction can begin.
