Postal Service no longer accepting mail to Canada
The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) announced that it has stopped accepting all mail to Canada as of Sunday, with the exception of Global Express Guaranteed (GXG) service.
A postal strike in Canada caused Canada Post to shut down last week after a week and a half of regional rolling strikes led by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers. USPS customers will still be able to send letters and packages to Canada by using GXG, a premium international shipping service through FedEx Express.
