Prairie Meadows grant for Sixth Avenue housing project
Anawim Housing Inc. has received a $150,000 Prairie Meadows legacy grant toward a $1 million affordable housing project at 1511-1521 Sixth Ave., according to a release. Anawim will fill an empty lot and replace an uninhabitable home with townhomes as part of a multiphase project along the Sixth Avenue corridor. Construction is expected to begin Oct. 1 and completed by June 2017.
