Prairie Meadows grant to help improve Hoyt Sherman Place
Hoyt Sherman Place has received a $100,000 Prairie Meadows Legacy grant toward restoration efforts, including updating heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for the mansion and art gallery, converting to an energy-efficient centralized control system, installing more accessible entrance ramps, restroom remodels, and an outdoor patio space, with naming rights going to Prairie Meadows. Work began this month and will continue for three years, according to a press release.
